Spicy Sausage/Leek Dressing



The Mix:
1 pound medium to hot sausages removed from casings
2 large leeks steamed then diced small
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 small onion chopped
1/4 cup nonfat yogurt
1/4 cup water
4 cups dried bread crumbs(I prefer sourdough for this recipe)


Cook sausage meat, leeks, celery & onion in skillet till sausage is done. Drain off fat

Blend sausage mixture with remaing ingredients above.

Bake at 325 degrees till top has a soft crust.



As an alternate quick meal you can use the above recipe to stuff into dough for a sausage/leek calzone

You may wish to melt some parmesan or romano cheese on top just before serving
